n/rit Endless Possibilities
Has Anyone else noticed how well these two jobs compliment eachother?? I did a MM/Spirit spammer during the march 24th preview and it was great. Also you can do Vital weapon + Demonic Flesh + life siphon spam + life transfer, which makes an annoying as hell, and somewhat dangerous degen/regen build for pvp, perhaps my favorite though, check this out~!
Necro/Ritualist
Skills::
Soul Barbs ~ For 30 seconds, target foe takes 15...27 damage when an Enchantment or Hex is cast on that target.
Soul Bind {e}~ For 5...17 seconds, target foe attacks 30% slower than normal. If that foe becomes the target of a Hex while attacking, that foe is knocked down.
Shadow of Fear~ Target foe and all adjacent foes attack 50% slower for the next 20...39 seconds.
Defile Flesh ~ For 8...18 seconds, target foe receives only two-thirds benefit from healing.
Insidious Parasite~ For 8...18 seconds, whenever target foe hits with an attack, you steal 5...17 Health from that foe.
Earthbind Binding Ritual.~ Create a level 1...8 Spirit. All foes knocked down within its range are knocked down for at least 3 seconds. Whenever this happens, this Spirit loses 50...30 Health. This Spirit dies after 15...39 seconds.
Pain Binding Ritual. Create a level 1...8 Spirit. This Spirit's attacks deal 5...17 damage. This Spirit dies after 30...126 seconds.

i mean, just look at possibilities, you use earth bind to keep em down they attack 80% faster when they do hit, they take 20 dmg, also you could replace insidous parasite WITH Spirit of Failure so they may miss and take dmg instead, with pain and the other hexes, they get knocked down for 3 seconds each time you attack: basically heres the result:: They Are in major trouble, reply with what you think~!

thanks for the compliment, i usually have no difficulty comming up with builds liek this though cas im very familliar with every necro skill (and now the factions ones) b/c im a heavy necro player; specially in Random Arenas. I just kind of liked the concept, in reality, i stil havnt tested it cas i cant find where to cap the Elite on my Necro (the only one i like to play) lol.

Yes, I have noticed how well they compliment each other which is why I changed my Necro secondary over to Ritualist.
The Ritualist is a great secondary but a poor primary.

agreeed in full man agreed in full (i really dont like my rit, my necro/rit is easier to play, better, and more fun) but thats just my oppenion (btw, try a spirit spamming MM, quiete effective pve wise)..

The only problem i see with this build is that it takes forver for earth bind to recharge and gvg/pvp takes a while. also earthbind takes dmg whenver someone is knowcked down so unless you plan on taking them out quickly idk. otherwise nice build, i am also a very heavy necro player and i have unique build ppl dont think of so yeah nice job... im going to try this build out.

they don't attack 80% slower, it's capped at 50% slower.(and it wouldn't be 80% it would be (50+(50x0.3) =65%)
I'd like to know how you deal with energy. i'd suggest you to bring parasitic bond to trigger soul bind when needed.

LOL. funny you say the N/RT is a great MM/ spirit spammer.
I personally use a N/RT design for AB's. A dark aura VwK sac necro.
Basically designed to work off the Minions in AB's. alternating GwT and VwK and spamming V.weapon you can sac like mad with 400hp healing every 10 sec potential not including the vamp being leached off the minions and melee in the field.
Consume every corpse on the field and everything in the area is subject to your rampage. the Restoration line works nicely with the necros as well.
Something else to think about.

My necro is mm or blood.
When he is mm he is almost invincible but i like blood beter.
But when i go blood i die very fast even though my skills are well picked.
Its like i don't even have the chance to get the live i drain.

You've got too many long cast times for pvp and pve and I think you're overdoing it with the attack speed decreases. Using Soul Bind, you might want to bring some quicker casting hexes and I suppose the same could be said for using Soul Barbs. You also kind of lose the effectiveness of Insidious Parasite by not only slowing the attack speed, but knocking the attacker down.
I just think this build is too spread out in what it's trying to accomplish.
